Have you checked out the latest issue of Rue Magazine? It’s one of our top online reads! We continuously love what they put together! 🙂
As you’re flipping through, you might see our ad! 🙂 We are so excited to have a presence in this gorgeous publication!
Once you have time to flip through this issue, come back and tell us what you think! We’d love to know what catches your eye!
The new issue of Social South is out! And it is gorgeous!
In this issue, you can find a great story (by our very own Laurel) and some fab photos (by our lovely photographer Anna!) of a bedroom (and adjoining bath) that designer Chelsea Sirmons put together! The title of this story is, appropriately, Winter Whites!
Check out the full story on pages 24 and 25 by clicking here!
Here are a few larger images of this same room just for fun… We hope you love it!
What do you think? We love how Chelsea used so many of the client’s existing pieces when creating this soft, updated look. We love mixing old and new!
Speaking of our dear Chelsea… Since her husband was transferred to South Carolina in December, we find ourselves in need of another interior designer/sales associate! So we’re hiring!
If you are interested in this position or know someone who is, please take a look at this blog post with more information about the job. We’d love to hear from those of you who are qualified! 🙂
In the latest round of print advertisements from Lee Industries, they’ve put their focus into a new campaign called Lee Loves Local (which we are all about!) and GUESS WHO is in some of these ads?!
Yes, that is our very own Lisa Palmer right there on the bottom row of photos!
We’re proud to call her our own! Doesn’t she looks just smashing (as always?!)
Be sure to keep an eye out for this ad in magazines like Veranda and Garden & Gun!
We had a blast last Friday during our photo shoot for The Scout Guide Jackson, which is a highly anticipated new publication that will be available in Spring 2014!
The mission of The Scout Guide, as explained on TSG’s home site, “has always been about supporting locally owned businesses and celebrating the unique, talented treasures found in our communities. With the increasing proliferation of chain-store commerce and unbelievable surge in online sale outlets, we feel the need to love and protect homegrown businesses has never been more important.”
We’re excited to be a part of Jackson’s first edition of The Scout Guide, which will be an annual publication! Lisa, Todd, and Marty were fabulous SummerHouse models, photographer Tom Beck was so much fun, and TSG editor Kristin Allen did a great job of coordinating!
We can’t wait to see the finished product in the Spring, but for now, we’re getting our TSG fix via their fantastic blog! Check it out here. You can also like The Scout Guide Jackson on Facebook!
We’ve got a Southern love fest going on today over on Social South’s blog, The Daily Social! If you’re not familiar with Social South, they’re a super fun publication all about Southern culture, events, fashion, food, and more!
Today on their blog is some love for Southern artist Brent Smith, who is based in Mobile, Alabama! This painting totally takes our breath away, and apparently caught the attention of the Social South gang, too!
Read their post about it here!
And be sure to check out our pretty ad in their newest issue!
We hope y’all had a GREAT long weekend!
Designer Elizabeth Gullet has been published (again!) This time, she’s in Social South magazine, which all of us just adore! This particular home is in Florida’s Santa Rosa Beach and it is, as Elizabeth and her clients say, “non-beachy beachy.”
The subtle coastal hints are soft, soothing, and perfectly relaxing. Take a look!
(AND, take note that this space is also on the COVER of the magazine!)
And here’s our happy designer with her design! 🙂
Great work, Elizabeth! 🙂 Can’t wait to see the next one!
One of our favorite pieces from the Barry Dixon for Arteriors collection has been featured in Delta Magazine!
In the current issue of Delta Magazine (which celebrates their 10 year anniversary!), you’ll find the Clarksdale Screen included in the editor’s top ten picks! We’re certain that it was included because, not only is it breathtaking, but it was inspired by an old church in Clarksdale that Barry fell in love with on one of his trips to the Mississippi Delta!
Next time you’re in the shop, be sure to take note of this gorgeous screen in the middle of our showroom… It. Is. FINE…
Stay tuned for later in the week when we share about our other recent magazine appearance!
