Paint colors are hard. That is no secret at all! That’s why it’s so important to get a designer in on your paint color decision. You do not want to be going through the trouble of painting a room just to have to repaint it a few days later because it looks terrible! Let one of our talented designers save you a re-do by helping you pick a great color on the front end, okay?? Trust me on this one.
Now that we have that out of the way, I did poll our staff to see which white paint colors seem to work well for them most frequently. We got some great answers from everyone, so allow me to share! I personally love a white room so this post was really fun for me to put together. After we wrap up a little construction on my home, I’m sure I’ll get one of our awesome designers out to help me pick a great white to paint our new little addition! Stay tuned! 😉
“Ben Moore White Dove is a favorite of mine. I have used it in several projects and it always has beautiful consistency in different types of lighting.” Lindsey Townsend, Interior Designer
“Restoration Hardware’s Right White is a favorite of mine. It is a beautiful subtle velvet finish!
Its gorgeous.” Hathaway McMillon, Interior Designer
“Benjamin Moore Cloud White is one of my favorites. Cloud White is a crisp white that does not lend itself to undertones of pink or yellow.” Jordan Carter, Interior Designer
“Benjamin Moore Ivory White is really pretty. It’s a great white for any directional lighting.” Katy Sanders, Interior Designer
“Benjamin Moore Linen White is pretty universal in any setting. I’ll be using it in my next house everywhere.” Anabel Webb, Interior Design Assistant
“BM Linen White is my favorite, too, although I have been using it in 1/2 strength a lot lately. Especially with clients who want a whiter but softer white. It is beautiful! – Lisa
“Sherwin Williams White Duck has been my go to for a good while. I love it so much my own house is White Duck – walls, ceilings and trim!” Jenni Hilbun, Interior Designer
“Ben Moore Glacier White is so pretty. It’s warm, with a little hint of gray, and helps create a very cozy and inviting white room! We painted my little boy’s room this color and his room is one of my favorites in our home.” – Me, Laurel Donahoo, Social Media Manager (and former Interior Design Assistant!)
So there you have it. A roundup of beautiful white paint colors! I hope you find yourself inspired. Sometimes the only update a room needs is a fresh coat of paint. Why not treat yourself for Christmas with a little wall refresh? (But don’t forget– consult a designer first if you are even the teeniest bit unsure about paint colors!)
XOXO from maternity leave,
