Red, White, and *BLUE*

The importance of BLUE in Interior Design

As the Fourth nears, I thought it would be fun to continue a loose tradition over here on Always Summer to post Red, White, and Blue inspired rooms about this time every year (or so.) In the past, I’ve posted photos of projects done by other designers. This year, I wanted to keep it “internal” and post pretty projects by our people! Since they are magnanimously talented, and all! 😉

As I was searching for pretty pictures to share, the majority of what I found was BLUE related, so today, let’s celebrate some blue, shall we?

Blue is the color of the sky and the sea, making me thankful of all the freedoms we have here in the USA. Blue is associated with depth and stability. And those who fight for our country definitely give us that. Many shades of blue are beneficial to the mind and the body, fostering a sense of calmness and serenity. So, as you can see, blue is a color worth celebrating!

Here is a roundup of blue I think you’ll enjoy. Feast your eyes!

I love ALL of those spaces! Blue is not only beautiful in design, but it serves such a great purpose in relaxing us and reminding us of freedom. So take in all the blue. And red and white while you’re at it. And have a very happy 4th!

As always, thanks for stopping by Always Summer. XO! Laurel
